A heartbreaking crash on the Florida Turnpike claimed three lives after a tractor-trailer made an illegal U-turn and blocked oncoming traffic.
The accident happened near Fort Pierce when the truck attempted to cross the median through an “official use only” lane, clearly marked with a no U-turn sign. A minivan traveling north slammed into the truck, becoming trapped underneath.
All three people inside the van—the driver and two passengers—were killed. The truck driver, Harjinder Singh, now faces serious charges.
Authorities say this tragedy is a grim reminder of how dangerous reckless driving can be on high-speed roads.
