Story of a girl named Emma who had leukemia and tied the knot with her school boyfriend, DJ, a few days before her death. Even though Emma wasn’t feeling very well, her parents Alina and Aaron Edwards wanted to grant her all her wishes.
Emma learned at age 10 that she had acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She continued to work on her objectives positively, despite being sick. DJ was Rachel’s boyfriend for several years and she had wanted to marry him for a long time. It wasn’t possible for the two to get married at school when they were just 8 years old.
Because of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Emma’s Army, the parents were able to help Emma have her dream wedding. There were friends and family members present at the ceremony on June 29, 2023. Emma’s father helped her walk down the aisle and the DJ ended the ceremony by kissing her.
All guests enjoyed the wedding and it was good for Emma. Emma’s health worsened little by little and she died on July 11, 2023, only weeks after she was married. By dying at a young age, Emma reminds us to love and be with our family in every moment, as life is short.
