Now, a local diver exploring the Volga River has made a chilling discovery — a submerged car with human remains inside. Police recovered the vehicle and identified the couple through documents that miraculously survived underwater for over a decade.
Investigators believe the pair likely skidded off an icy road into the river, their car sinking unseen beneath the freezing waters. The case, once closed for lack of evidence, is now under review, with final findings yet to be released.
