Hawaii is reeling after a massive tsunami struck the islands, leveling coastal towns and leaving behind a trail of destruction.

Shocking videos flooding social media show giant waves crashing through neighborhoods, sweeping away cars, homes, and everything in their path. Sirens wailed as terrified residents screamed, scrambling for safety with little time to react.

“It was like the ocean vanished… then came back with a roar,” one survivor recalled. “The wave was taller than the buildings. There was nowhere to run.”

The tsunami was triggered by a powerful undersea earthquake and hit with almost no warning. Emergency crews are now in a desperate race to rescue people trapped in flooded areas. Entire communities are without power, bridges are down, and roads are blocked—cutting off aid to the worst-hit zones.
